This course teaches participants how to generate innovative solutions on demand using the SPARK Process, a structured approach to divergent thinking. Creativity is presented not as an innate talent but as a learnable skill that can be systematically applied to workplace challenges. Participants learn five techniques for pushing past default thinking patterns: Stimulating ideas with random stimuli, Playing with concept combinations, Associating freely without judgment, Refining wild ideas into practical solutions, and Keeping momentum to generate more ideas. By the end of the session, participants will be able to generate innovative solutions to a work challenge using at least two divergent thinking techniques from the SPARK Process.
