This course belongs to a three-part seminar, which explores the rapidly evolving landscape of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and some of its emerging implications for the future of work. We will delve into a selection of the challenges and opportunities presented by this disruptive technology, focusing on a theoretical, experimental, and human-centered approach. The seminar is structured around three core themes: Experimentation, Integration, and Adoption. We will examine research, best practices, and real-world case insights to understand how individuals and organizations can begin to more effectively navigate the changing nature of work in the Age of Intelligence. The course emphasizes a hands-on, applied approach, encouraging participants to connect course concepts to their own diverse professional contexts.

This topic is titled "Integration and Generative AI: Research and Implications", and will examine foundational questions raised by the early days of AI integration. How do we effectively reallocate time and talent when productivity rises and tasks require less human effort? What is the best response to newly available resources—both financial and energetic—that AI helps unlock? We will also discuss the necessary skilling and re-skilling approaches that enable organizations to capitalize on these innovations, while weighing the associated challenges and risks.

By reviewing real-world insights and examples unfolding in near-real time, participants will gain practical perspectives on how to proceed with AI integration in their own contexts. We will explore lessons from peers, competitors, and different industries, identifying how these experiences might guide a more intentional approach to AI adoption.
