The Leading at Work webinar series comprises 10 micro-live workshop courses designed to develop essential workplace skills. Each course follows an 8-step workshop structure combining diagnostic activities, skill instruction, practical demonstrations, and hands-on practice.

Leading at Work is built for mid-career professionals who are leveling up—new and aspiring managers, team leads, project leads, and anyone who wants stronger influence and effectiveness on the job.

Alyssa L. Provencio-Ciszewicz, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Political Science and the Director of Downtown Strategy and Community Partnerships for LX Studio at the University of Central Oklahoma. She is a scholar, practitioner, and strategist dedicated to building resilient communities through representation, community-driven solutions, and praxis. In her Director role, Dr. Provencio-Ciszewicz leads efforts to strengthen UCO’s downtown Oklahoma City presence through community engagement and program development. She facilitates initiatives that connect the university with businesses, nonprofit organizations, and civic leaders to foster collaboration and innovation in higher education and workforce development. She is a national media contributor on inclusive emergency management issues and serves on the Board of Trustees with Oklahoma Humanities. Dr. Provencio-Ciszewicz's teaching and research focuses on under-resourced populations and citizen empowerment in emergency management, as well as faculty development and mentorship in higher education.

Brandon McCasland, Learning Strategy & Design Consultant, has a graduate certificate in Public Digital Humanities from the University of Iowa, a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from The University of Alabama, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Texas State University.

Dr. John Gillmore is a Senior Learning Strategy and Design Consultant at LX Studio, a custom learning experience consulting agency at the University of Central Oklahoma. Dr. Gillmore supports LX Studio as a learning consultant and as a research fellow supporting research and development efforts in learning design and learning analytics. In addition, Dr. Gillmore provides strategic expertise in creating, developing, and scaling innovations that support learning. Dr. Gillmore holds a Ph.D. in the field of Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies from Oklahoma State University.

Trevor Cox, Ph.D. is the Director of Learning Innovation and Associate Professor of Organizational Leadership at the University of Central Oklahoma. A teacher, scholar, and practitioner of leadership, he leads LX Studio, a learning innovation center that helps organizations design impactful learning experiences and stackable micro-credentials aligned with workforce needs. He also oversees Connected Campus, UCO’s strategic initiative to expand and enhance fully online degree programs. Dr. Cox’s work bridges academic leadership and applied expertise in adult and organizational learning to to help people, programs, and processes transform.

Bucky Dodd, Ph.D. is the Chief Executive Officer and Principal Consultant at ClearKinetic, a boutique consultancy specializing in creating one-of-a-kind education and training solutions.

As a creative designer, master facilitator, and results-driven strategist, Dr. Dodd brings a wealth of experience and expertise to developing education and training solutions that unify sound learning and business practices. He has been recognized internationally for his consulting and design expertise and has a proven record of leading innovation initiatives in associations, corporate, government, and education organizations.

Micro-credentials demonstrate your knowledge, skills and abilities and create a more complete picture of your capabilities. You can earn a micro-credential through the completion of a course, workshop, internship, or other learning experience. Once it has been verified that you performed satisfactorily to earn the micro-credential, you will be issued a micro-credential digital badge.
